AS 1530.1 Non-Combustibility certification for specific MAC renders.

Macrender®, Macrender Coarse, Sydney Coarse, Supaskim & Hi-Build ℗ MACrender coarse FR have now been classified non-combustible in accordance with AS 1530.1.

This means these products can now be specified and used with confidence, on TYPE A & B constructions or wherever non-combustibility is a requirement.

Textured Paints and coatings

Textured paints are not considered renders. According to Australian Building Codes Board C1.14 (L), textured paints are considered a permitted ancillary element and are not required to achieve an AS1530.1 classification.

MAC textured paints & coatings are formulated using the same ingredients as a paint or "textured paint". 

Consult building surveyor for final approval prior to application.
